Terms and conditions
These sales terms define the procedure for ordering, paying, delivering, refunding, or claiming the service. The University of Zadar is a provider of services through e-commerce accessible via Internet and the websites in the subdomain. http://shop-en.unizd.hr and related pages (information systems). The buyer of a service is the end e-commerce user who chooses one service, generates an order, and pays for the service.
The University of Zadar sells and provides e-commerce services in accordance with the terms and conditions reported bellow. By using and accessing e-commerce, the customer or visitor (end user) is deemed to have read and understood the Terms of Use, and to accept the terms and conditions herein and to use the service in accordance with them. End users (buyer, visitor) may send queries about using the service to the e-mail: webshop@unizd.hr.
For these Terms and Conditions, the reference point is the page that contains detailed information about the service, conference or event.
The right to use e-commerce is not transferable to other physical or legal entities.
E-commerce information may include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. The University of Zadar does not state or warrant, explicitly or tacitly, that the content of e-commerce or related pages is complete or up-to-date; that e-commerce and associated pages will always be available and disposable and will not cause any damage to users (customers) or third parties. Each user (customer) explicitly accepts the use of this e-commerce on his or her own responsibility and bears the possible costs associated with the maintenance or repair of computer equipment. Any warranty given on this site applies exclusively to the services provided by the University of Zadar.
The University of Zadar reserves the right at any time to update, modify or abolish the e-commerce or related pages, including, but without limitation, the content, availability time as well as the equipment required to access or use the site. The University of Zadar has the authority to cease publishing any part of the information and to modify or terminate any method of data transfer, to change the data transfer rate as well as any other characteristics. Information and data can be changed without prior notice.
The University of Zadar can also at any time make improvements or changes to the services described in these Terms of Use without prior notice. If the user (buyer) does not accept the Terms of Use, he/she must refrain from accessing and using the e-commerce. The University of Zadar reserves the right to revise the Terms of Use at any time as well as to terminate access to e-commerce without prior notice.
Pursuant to Directive 2011/83 / EU on consumer rights, consumers in all EU Member States have the same rights when purchasing goods or services through this website, regardless of where they bought a product or service within the Union.
CONDITIONS OF BUYING/SELLING SERVICES
These Purchase/Sales Terms define the procedure for ordering, paying, delivering, lodging a complaint, cancelling a purchase, and the Seller's liability for material defects of the services offered by the e-commerce.
1. Ordering
For your order to be valid you must follow the procedures that enable e-commerce. Your order is accepted if you have received information (an e-mail via website or e-mail) about the order. By acquiring an electronic message, it is considered that you agree with the order and that there is a contractual relationship.
2. Payment
The prices reported in the e-commerce are retail prices, they are quoted in Croatian currency Kuna (HRK), they contain value-added tax (VAT) and are valid for all payment methods at the time of purchase.
The service being sold is in accordance with the written description given in the reports below the name of the service.
The location of the service is Croatia, Zadar and the areas of the University of Zadar.
The University of Zadar reserves the right to change product descriptions, prices and conditions at any time.
3. Delivery
The University of Zadar will provide the services listed in the conference or event related services according to the deadlines specified in the description of these services/events at the University of Zadar locations.
4. Termination of contract and filing of complaints
Pursuant to the Consumer Protection Act you are authorised to terminate the contract unilaterally without explanation for it within 14 days of the date of acceptence contract. In case the contract is signed, the contract cannot be terminated 15 days prior to the conference.
For the termination of the contract, you need to give an unambiguous statement in which you express your willingness to terminate the agreement, specify the order number of the order or invoice and send it to the e-mail address: webshop@unizd.hr.
The University of Zadar will, without delay and no later than 15 days from the day it has received the notice of your decision to terminate the contract, refund all you have paid under the contract/order.
Eventual complaint about the provided service can be lodged at the following e-mail address: webshop@unizd.hr.
University will respond to your complaint in written form within 15 days of receiving it.
5. Liability for material faults
The University of Zadar as a Trader is responsible for material faults of goods-products in accordance with the Mandatory Obligations Act.
